See what people are saying about Talk of the Town!

Dear Sandy,

I just wanted to send a note to thank you for the great job you did planning and managing the engagement party for my stepson Nic and his fiancé Rachael. You really went above and beyond my expectations.

It was so nice to be able to relax and spend time with my guests and not have to worry about whether people were being looked after or not. To be honest with you my nature is to fret a bit so every time I would think “Oh maybe it’s time to light the candles” or “I wonder if the dessert should go out now”…everything was already in place and done with panache!

I cannot believe how many positive comments I have received from guests about the service too. You and your team had such a nice way of connecting with the guests but still kept it on a very professional level.

I am looking forward to working with you on some upcoming corporate events Lance and I have planned for our real estate clients and am certain before long you and your business will truly be “The Talk of the Town”.

Best of luck to you and again our sincere thanks for a job well done.

Warm Regards,

Connie Marples

A Touch of Glass

A Touch of Glass.....

The new way of serving is the barely there, with emphasis on the art of food and the unique ways to present it comes the glass revolution. Moving away from the buffet and towards a new take, one of this season's hottest trends is to serve in glass, from champagne flutes to tea light holders there are no limits.

Serving fresh prawns with zesty cocktail sauce in an elegant glass is a mess free spin on a crowd favorite. Creating a centerpiece layered in glass tubes or square bricks gives the illusion of free floating elegance. Glass is the perfect accompaniment to your decor as it is elegant without competing for attention. Mixed with candlelight there is no limit to the elegance or casual flair glass can provide for your next event!

Welcome to my new business! I have long wanted to have something of my own and here it is. I have been working in the food and hospitality business for the last 20+ years with the last 8 also in events and marketing. I have 2 girls, 8 & 3 years, 2 fish, 1 husband and ambition to spare. My girlfriends, and successful business women in their own rights, are working with me on this also. Karen has had her own catering company since 1984 called TLC Creative, and Erin has been doing amazing floral design for 20 years with some of the most elite florists in the area.  So you have a combined 50+ years of experience working for you in catering, floral design, decor, and event management!
Keep a watch out for our monthly blogs on what's new and hot in the party, design and foodie world!
Cheers,
